Patient Day Scotland

Please join us for our first ever Patient Day in Scotland.  We’ll be enjoying a day of information, support and inspiration at the Queen Elizabeth Teaching & Learning Centre, Glasgow, G51 4TF, on Saturday 24 February 2018.

This FREE day is being organised with the Scottish Colorectal Cancer Nurses Group and is kindly supported by Norgine and Convatec.  Bowel cancer patients undergoing treatment or living with the disease are very welcome and may bring up to two guests.  Come along and chat with colorectal nurses and other patients and carers.

Coming by car

The venue is just a few minutes’ drive from junction 25 of the M8 motorway.  Free parking will be available.

Coming by train

There is a regular bus service from Glasgow Central Station to Queen  Elizabeth University Hospital.

The programme

Our programme will include some of our most popular presentations and workshops, including living well and eating well during and after cancer treatment; surgery and chemotherapy options; the psychological and emotional effects of a cancer diagnosis; regaining bowel control; a family history of bowel cancer; and much more.  Doors will open at 9.30 for a 10.00 am start and the day will be finished by 4.30 pm.
