We are a charity that relies entirely on voluntary donations, and major gifts from individuals enable Beating Bowel Cancer to support even more people affected by bowel cancer and their families. Such generous support also helps fund our innovative campaigns to promote greater awareness of symptoms and the key message that bowel cancer can be beaten.
You can support a specific area of our work, or make an unrestricted gift which will allow us to use your grant where it is needed most. Whatever you decide, your support will help us to continue to help those affected by bowel cancer in your area and the rest of the UK. You will enable us to provide a range of vital services and giving people with bowel cancer the help, hope and reassurance they need.
Here is what the people we help say:
“Beating Bowel Cancer has threaded through my treatment for the past 8 years, and has been an essential part of my recovery. They have been incredibly professional and empathetic at the times when others weren’t. Words cannot express how vital their existence is not only for me but for the thousands of people across the UK who are also struggling to cope with their bowel cancer diagnosis. Beating Bowel Cancer is the best, the foremost, from my heart.” – Jacquie, Bowel Cancer Voice
“[Their booklets] have helped me so much in terms of having greater awareness of my diagnosis, provided more information around my staging and treatment, answering questions that I often missed when talking to my care team, and have helped with general heath advice to give myself the best chance of feeling well. Now I have reached the end of treatment I found myself feeling nervous and anxious about the future and the ‘Beyond bowel cancer’ booklet has helped me rationalise how I feel emotionally, my fear of recurrence and help me understand what to expect from my follow up care.” – Amy, Bowel Cancer Voice
