Fantastic Bowel Cancer Awareness Month fundraisers
Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is the perfect time to fundraise for us. Here are just a handful of examples of what our supporters are up to this April. If you feel inspired to fundraise for us please take a look at our 'Do your own thing' page. We'd love to hear from you.
On Wednesday 18th April, fundraiser Roger Bullen, will be running a marathon on a treadmill for Beating Bowel Cancer. On the day he will be joined by a team of 42 people who will be running a relay marathon on a treadmill beside him.
The event is taking place at the Atrium at Essex County Council so if you are local why not come along and visit our awareness stand, have a chat and cheer on Roger and his relay team. There will of course be collection buckets so please bring some spare change!
Dafydd Jones is launching his 13th ebay auction on 2 April with all proceeds going to Beating Bowel Cancer. There are some fantastic items for sale, including designer handbags by Dolce and Gabanna and Smythson, and with 100% of the price donated to us it’s a fantastic way to grab yourself a bargain while supporting Beating Bowel Cancer. The auction launches at 9am on Monday 2nd April and will be live on Dafydd’s website www.wannadosomething.co.uk.
Rafina Bashir, a first time fundraiser for Beating Bowel Cancer, is holding a cake sale for her friends and colleagues.
