We are
delighted to launch a new campaign, providing new and updated
information to GPs and GP Practices, on bowel cancer and haemorrhoids
treatments.
Bleeding
from the bottom is a common complaint, but it
shouldnt be ignored. Patients may simply have haemorrhoids
(or piles), however it can sometimes be a sign of bowel cancer.
There
are new, innovative treatments for both haemorrhoids and bowel
cancer, and we are delighted to bring you up to date on these.
From the
end of January, every GP Practice will receive a comprehensive
pack from Beating Bowel Cancer, including a letter for the
GP, two posters, and a sample leaflet.
Additional
packs of leaflets can be ordered, free of charge, from us
by completing the relevant form here.
For further
information about Piles or Haemorrhoids,
please call the PPH InfoLine on 0800 028 2231 or visit
www.allaboutpph.co.uk
For further
information about bowel cancer, please explore this website,
in particulr the medical advice section.
We
are able to implement this national campaign thanks to support
by sponsorship from Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a division of Johnson
& Johnson Medical Ltd.
