Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club, Richmond, Surrey

Founded over 100 years ago, Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club provides a perfect setting for Beating Bowel Cancer’s inaugural golf day. Set in an island of tranquillity in Royal Parkland at Richmond-upon-Thames, it enjoys the most accessible of locations being only 9 miles from central London, the M25 and Heathrow Airport.

The outer course offers a challenging but rewarding round with signature humps and hollows defining every hole, as well as subtle undulations on the beautifully presented greens.

The big day
Once your team have registered, you’ll start with coffee and bacon rolls before taking on 18 holes on the Outer Course. This is followed by a 3 course lunch with wine and a lively auction with prize giving!

• 8am:  Registration followed by coffee and bacon rolls
• 8.30am: Two tee start off the Outer Course
• After your round: Exclusive use of the club house facilities and refreshments
• From 2pm: Drinks at the 19th hole and putting competition
• 3pm: 3 course carvery lunch with wine
• 4.15pm:  Awards, speeches and auction
• 5.30pm:  Guests depart

The competition

• Team event (individuals can also enter to be part of a team)
• 2 tee start throughout the morning with 4 players per team

• Stableford format - best two balls count at each hole
• Longest drive and nearest pin prizes
• The maximum handicap for all players is: Men - 28, Ladies – 35

The cost per team is just £470 and includes 18 holes on the Outer Course, Bacon rolls and tea/coffee on arrival, Nearest Pin & Longest Drive Competition and 3 Course Lunch with wine.

There is also the option of entering as an individual at £120 (we will put you in a team) or by corporate sponsorship (see below),
