A huge thanks to everybody who took part in Be Loud Be Clear 2012. So many of you helped us to raise funds and awareness and made as much noise as possible about bowel cancer.

Loud Fundraising Days
Lots of individuals and organsations organised Be Loud Be Clear events to raise both funds and awareness. BBC Oxford held health walks and a collection, HMRC in Newcastle held a dress down day and several hospitals held cake sales, raffles and quiz evening.s A huge thank you to everbody who got involved.
Ebay for Charity
Ebay for Charity supported our Be Loud Be Clear during week commencing 23 January by featuring us in their £ at checkout campaign. Thank you to everybody who added £1 onto their purchase to support Beating Bowel Cancer.
Dafydd Jones held his 12th special eBay auction in support of Be Loud Be Clear. To date Dafydd's fantastic celebrity auctions have raised over £7,000 and more are planned. Keep up to date with new auctions at his website his website wannadosomething.

Awareness, awareness, awareness
Thank you to everybody who raised awareness through Facebook, Twitter and by blogging about bowel cancer - you really did make a difference. In Be Loud Be Clear week alone over 18,000 people visited our symptoms page!
Hannah is a great example of somebody who blogged about Be Loud Be Clear and then tweeted link to all of her followers.
Parliamentary Reception
Our parliamentary reception took place on 25 January in the State Rooms, Speakers House, with the kind permission of Mr Speaker, Rt Hon John Bercow MP. We launched our report 'Equity in Excellence for Bowel Cancer - delivering world class outcomes for patients with bowel cancer'. The report sets out how Beating Bowel Cancer will contribute to the delivery of the best services for bowel cancer patients and presents a new challenge to policy makers. Be Clear on Cancer
We are proud to support the Department of Health’s national campaign to promote earlier diagnosis of cancer which runs for 9 weeks 30 January.
