Campaigns: aims and objectives

A core aspect of our work is to raise the profile of bowel cancer and surrounding issues, and we are proud of the many innovative awareness campaigns that we have created and implemented over recent years.

All our campaigns are carefully developed to ensure key messages about the disease are delivered to relevant audiences, using cost-effective targeted activities and communications.

Our campaign ideas always link back to our mission statement  – to raise awareness of symptoms, encourage early diagnosis and improve access to treatment choices.

Where possible, our campaigns rollout on a national basis to maximise their reach; however, we have also worked up smaller projects in particular geographical areas, or to pilot a new idea. Our campaigns are generally funded either through grants or corporate funding, and we are extremely grateful to the organisations who support us. To get involved with the charity in this way, visit our Corporate Partnerships or Trusts and Foundations pages.
